Melbourne’s masters of creativity, Five Star Prison Cell, are back and set to release another album that projects new life into the world of heavy music – their highly anticipated third album M A T R I A R C H.

Produced by Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Helmet) one of Australia’s finest, M A T R I A R C H is 12 tracks of mind bending time signature’s, eclectic vocal gymnastics, unique brutality with an amazing new sense of catchiness that will melt away your pre-conceptions of what music should sound like. While world renowned artist Seldon Hunt (Neurosis, Isis, Candiria) has taken care of the album artwork ensuring the album looks as extraordinary as it sounds.
