News : Internal Nightmare sign with High Voltage Records

By on March 25, 2010

Melbourne’s Internal Nightmare have recently announced their signing with Australian record label High Voltage Records.

‘We are extremely proud to announce this union – High Voltage has been a massive influence on the success of such jaw-dropping Australian bands like Bloodduster, Earth and Sin City, and have given bands like Psycroptic their start in Melbourne – so to say the least, we’re proud as punch to join such a brilliant roster!’

Internal Nightmare will be releasing their debut EP ‘Segregation’ in late May/early June. The EP will feature five tracks including a rerecording of older track “The Term Is Frustration” as well as one of their live favourites “Annexation”. For those who haven’t heard of the band; how is that possible? Last year the band released a promotional disc, of which the lead single was featured in compilations such as Blunt Magazine’s ‘Loud Noises’ and Welkin Entertainment’s ‘Euphony Fusion 3’. It will also feature in the upcoming ‘Melbourne Metal Unleashed DVD’ as well as it’s film clip. On top of that, the band played on ABC show Spicks and Specks as well.

“Internal Nightmare’s upcoming debut EP ‘Segregation’ is a testament to the band’s ability to combine dirty-yet-technical riffs, thunderous drums and aggressive vocals with a sense of musicality that has been missing since the heyday of bands like Pantera, Sepultura, Death and Cataract (amongst many others)!”
