News : MO Feature band: Untruth (Vic)

Stamping their own unique take on the melodic death metal genre, Untruth have continued to impress amongst the Melbourne metal scene and are gaining a solid reputation as a dynamic, exciting and intense live act. Their highly anticipated debut EP, “Act 1: The Absence Of Beacons” will see the band bring their best to the table and raise the bar above and beyond what is currently thought possible from a first release.

Produced by local engineer Ermin Hamidovic and mastered in the land of metal, Sweden, at Panic Room Mastering, this Mornington Peninsula based 5-piece have created a release that they think will launch them well and truly onto the Australian metal scene.

Having played almost every great venue in and around Melbourne over the past 2 years with the best Australia has to offer such as Ne Obliviscaris, Five Star Prison Cell, Double Dragon and Truth Corroded (S.A), The Occularis Infernum, Frankenbok and many more, Untruth are on the way to leading the next rise in Australian heavy metal.

Untruth will be launching their debut EP over in October at The Espy Gerswhin Room on Oct 31st, as part of a Halloween themed show supporting Melbourne’s leaders of all things death and grind, The Berzerker and also featuring Be’lakor plus more.
