News : Arkheth to release 'The Quintessence Of Algaresh' in late 2009

By on September 17, 2009

NSW-based black metal band Arkheth are putting the final touches on a two-disc album to be released sometime in late 2009. Titled ‘The Quintessence Of Algaresh’, it features nearly two hours of epic symphonic black metal, conjuring landscapes both bleak and uplifting.

‘Hymns of a Howling Wind’ was released to rave review in 2003, managing to land themselves on 2004’s Bloodlust festival, only to disappear back to hometown Orange, NSW and all seemed over. But with a re-emergence to the live scene 2008, whispers of new material also surfaced, and Obsidian Records are proud to announce that they can once again unleash a new force into the Australian metal scene.
