News : Internal Nightmare update, filming new video

Victorian metal/thrash band Internal Nightmare have posted a band update on their Myspace with details not only about their live shows but also the filming of a new video clip. You can read it below:

“Just a quick update of all things Internal:

Shows at the Nash in Geelong on the 11th/12th of July were outstanding – particularly because our favourite Queenslanders tore it up on two separate (and increasingly hung-over) occasions! Props to the gents of Lynchmada – we had a ball running amok with ya’s!

Fast forward a week to Friday night at the Barwon Club with Kaamora, Bezerkerfox and the mighty Damnations Day! That was one very metal evening with Damnations Day absolutely tearing it up onstage (particularly Dean, in his brand new IN hoodie!!!)! Cheers for a top night lads!

Then came Saturday………..

Internal made its way up to the small Victorian town of Maryborough with Stoptime Media, Lizard Lighting and Arthouse Gore to begin filming our debut video in an old, abandoned (apparently haunted) butter factory. The location in itself proved the 2-1/2 hour drive to be worthwhile, with decaying walls, dirty dirty floors and the unmistakable smell of buttery death in the air! We filmed for around 13 hours (12pm – 2am) – including a storyline (with the main role played by a very bloodied Nath) and shot some huge, epilepsy-inducing band scenes! This clip will define Internal Nightmare in more ways than one – already, we know how this clip is going to come out of the editing process – dark, heavy and unrelenting! We’re already extremely proud of the results to date, let alone after Matt and Richard of Stoptime Media have their way with the footage! Props to those guys and everyone else who assisted on the day!!! Thank you!

Speaking of those madmen in Humonic, we are proud as punch to be playing with them at their long awaited EP launch at the Greyhound Hotel in St Kilda on Friday, August 7th!!! Also featuring our top mates, those grinding deathheads from Tassie – Separatist and the beautifully brutal sounds of Alarum – once again, we can’t believe how fucking awesome this lineup is! If there’s one metal gig this year that you get your face caved in at, make it this one!!!
