News : Art of Deception post album update
Regional NSW metalcore band Art of Deception have posted an update on the bands soon to be recorded album, set to be title ‘Words for the Wounded’, and as a teaser, the band has also made available all previous recordings from the band’s debut EP ‘Ashes in the Envelope’, released in 2008.
“Hey there all, just an update on the recording progress. Or new Drummer Adam Bartimote is learning the songs at a rapid rate and we should nearly be ready to start the recording progress again in the next couple of weeks. The album will feature 12 songs including an instrumental co-written by Deathmaask’s (www.myspace.com/deathmaask) Daniel ‘Shredica’ Bradica.
The album will be entitled ‘Words for the Wounded’ and will be a concept album based upon events following a world-wide apocalyptic event. For such an ambitious endevour we have enlisted the aid of Jon Hocking design studio to create the visual scenery of the album. From the artwork he has shown us so far we are more inspired than ever to make this the best possible album we can.
On a final note we have RELEASED ALL PREVIOUS RECORDING from our Debut EP ‘Ashes In The Envelope’ plus a demo of the song “Tonight We Run” which is scheduled for rec-recording for the new album.”
