News : LORD announce "Set in Stone" Australian/New Zealand Tour

By on February 4, 2009

LORD announce ‘Set in Stone’ Australia/New Zealand tour.

To promote their upcoming album ‘Set in Stone’, LORD will be embarking on an Australian/New Zealand tour.

Commencing in late March, the band will be hitting 19 dates across the country, as well as making their way to New Zealand for the very first time.

Commented bass player Andy Dowling,

This is the first ‘extensive’ tour that we have done as a LORD. We’ll be making our way to some of our old favourite venues, as well as places we have yet to play. This is only a taste of what’s to come, and just the first leg of which should be a big tour, and year for the band. If we’re not playing in your neck of the woods this time around, then wait for the 2nd leg!”

LORD are currently wrapping up recording of their new album ‘Set in Stone’, which will be the follow up to the critically acclaimed ‘Ascendence’ released in 2007.
