News : JJJ Hottest 100 – voting now open

National broadcaster Triple J radio has announced that voting in the annual Hottest 100 song poll has opened for 2008. With over 700,000 votes entered in 2007, the Hottest 100 poll is the world’s biggest annual radio song poll. Recent winners of the poll include Muse (Knights of Cydonia, 2007), Augie March (One Crowded Hour, 2006) and Bernard Fanning (Wish You Well, 2005).

Vote in Triple J’s hottest 100 (you can choose up to 10 songs) and you’ll go into the draw to win our awesome ‘Triple J pass – Access All Events’ which entitles you and a friend 2 tickets to every gig, tour and festival Triple J presents in 2009!

Voting closes Sunday 18th January. Hear the countdown of the Hottest 100 songs on triple j at 10:am (EST) 26th January – Australia Day. Why not organise a Hottest 100 party at your place or go to one of the hundreds of official Hottest 100 parties happening at a venue near you.
