Melbourne ‘Port Philip Bay Area’ Melodic Death Metallers Black Like Vengeance have issued their end of year wrap up for 2008.

“We’re coming close to the end of the ’08 and BLV is finishing up prematurely. We’d like to thank everyone for their amazing support throughout the year and a huge booyah to all the rad folk we’ve had the pleasure of sharing a stage with. A big thank you to Mat Picco and Duane for helping us out in those tight spots. We can always count on you blokes to spot us a giant tub of long lasting lube.

The Switch show went off with a bang, a fantastic end to the year and one of our best shows to date. Cheers to everyone who came along, it was great seeing so many new and familiar faces.

BLV is hitting easy street for a little while, taking a much earned break. Talks of an album is on the cards and we have plans to record a few tracks to get your juices flowing next year. Keep an ear out and your hands clean, we’ll see you in the new year.”
