News : Dyscord announces drummer departure and arrival

Perth metal band Dyscord have recently posted an update on recent band member movements…

“A few weeks ago our drummer Ben Hesketh parted ways with the band. We would really like to thank Benzo for all the hard work and time he put into Dyscord and wish him all the best! Benzo is a great dude and we know he will succeed in all his future endeavors!

During this time we have searched high and low (and by high and low i mean the spare room of owen’s house) and found one Ashley Large, a good friend of ours who we are happy to announce has agreed to become our new drummer!!

He will play his first show at Psycroptic’s OB(SERVANT) Album Launch @ HQ Leederville on the 13th of December, so come down and make him feel welcome!!”

Along with playing on the Perth leg of Psycroptis’c extensive Aus/NZ Tour, Dyscord will also be the national support for American metallers Whitechapel and their upcoming tour of Australia in the new year. To check out Dyscord, please head to their MySpace page at: www.myspace.com/dyscord
