Black/goth metal band, Leicohtica, will be carbon-offsetting their up and coming east coast tour. The band posted have released this following press release:

“Leicohtica – Environmetal”

No doubt many of you have seen that Leicohtica will be embraking on yet another east-coast tour of Australia starting in only a weeks time! We are very excited to be able to play to new audiences and old friends alike. We just want to take a second to let you all know that we are taking the step to go ‘green’ with our tour. Many big bands already do this, but its time that less well known bands took responsibility for their footprints also.

We will be paying to carbon offset all of our flights, rail travel, bus travel, car travel as well as all electricity used in the production of our tour.

All of our merchandise will be offset to cover the production of the raw materials right through to the finished product, so you know you will be buying our merchandise completely guilt free.

We are passionate about sustainability of our planet and environment and we plan to play our part. Please come check us out on tour if you have the opportunity. We will eb announcing more ‘green’ ideas throughout the year, and a great suprise with our next full length release due out mid-third term this year.
